“Would you like to go out to lunch?” Moon asked Jin after they were done shooting.
“Yes, please! I’m starving!”
“Are you? I know a great place near here. It’s about a block down.”
“That sounds great.”
Moon pulled out her phone to shoot a quick text to Hyuna.
“I’m having lunch with a colleague at the ramen shop across from where you work. Would you like to join us?”
“Sure! I’ll meet you there in ten minutes!”
Moon grinned. Maybe her plan wouldn’t flop after all.

“I think I already hate having to train someone,” Nia informed Sua as they ate lunch in the cafeteria.
“Ok, listen. Mr. Park can’t be nearly as bad as Ms. Oh. She has absolutely no clue what she’s doing at all.”
“I have the opposite problem. Mr. Park is so good that I don’t think I’m needed anymore.”
Sua laughed. “Wow, I wish we could trade. I’d happily sit on the sidelines and do nothing.” She took a huge bite of her sandwich. “I think Jungkook overpacked my lunch today.”
“Really? Yesterday you said he under packed it.”
“I guess he heard me tell you that because today he packed me three sandwiches, an apple, and four brownies.”
“Dang! He must love you to give you four brownies!”
Sua laughed. “Well, I think I’ll be taking all of them home with me because I don’t think I even have room in my stomach for these sandwiches.”
“Can I have a brownie, then?”
“Sure.”

“Hey, Moon! Who’s this…” Hyuna’s eyes widened as she stared down at Jin. He looked exactly the same as he had all those years ago. The only difference was his copper brown hair.
“Hyuna?” he asked, his voice a gentle breath.
“You two know each other?” Moon asked, feigning innocence.
“We um…dated in college.” Jin explained.
“Wow! Small world, huh?”
Hyuna silently seated herself next to Moon. “Can I have a menu?”
Moon handed her one despite knowing she ordered the same thing every time they came here.
“Do you think you’ll do another commercial any time soon?” Moon asked Jin, trying to keep the conversation going.
“I’m not sure. Today was my first time doing an actual commercial for anything. I mean, I was in a perfume ad when I was younger, but it was just photographs.”
“Oh, I see. You seemed like a natural today, but I suppose it was more like just filming an episode, right?”
Jin laughed and nodded.
Hyuna peeked over the top of her menu. She was quite intrigued. She had so many questions for Jin, but did she really need the answers? Would he even give them to her? He didn’t really owe her answers, did he? He’d broken up with her and that was that. Did someone really need an excuse for a breakup?
Jin looked over at her then and offered her a gentle smile.
“How have you been, Hyuna?”
“Just fine, I guess.”
“Did you ever do anything with that media major of yours?”
“Nope. I’ve worked at the gift shop across the street for over five years now.”
“That’s nice. Most of the people I know have been bouncing between jobs every year for the most part,” Jin laughed.
“Yeah. I guess it’s hard to keep a job nowadays.”
The conversation fell flat as the waiter came to take their order, and Moon wondered if this would help shove them together again.
Ok now i ship Jin with Hyuna, he seems like he never forgot her. And Jimin is Nia’s replacement! So excited 🙂
