Sua lay out on Nia’s couch.
“I’m near my end with this pregnancy. Get the babies out!”
Nia laughed. “Well, it is possible you’ll have them in a few weeks, right?”
“Possibly. Could be two months, though.” She sighed and stretched.
“Do you have any name ideas yet?”
“Yeah. I’m kind of disappointed, though. I had two names for boys I really liked, and now I don’t get to use both of them.”
“Couldn’t you still use them?”
“Nah. Doesn’t feel right to use one of them for either of the girls.”
Nia laughed. “Well, ok then. How’s Jungkook?”
“He’s all right. He’s been working longer shifts the past few weeks, so he’s been pretty wiped out at night.”
Nia nodded. “Tae too. Last night I heard him walk through the front door and when I went out to greet him, he’d already taken his shoes off and disappeared. I found him sound asleep in our room with his work clothes still on.” She laughed. “I had to wake him up because I knew he’d be mad if he woke up with wrinkled slacks in the morning.”
“I think we all need a vacation,” Sua sighed.
“Well, I guess the wedding could technically count as one. But…it’s a wedding. Not much of a real break there.”
Sua laughed. “We’ll have fun. It’ll be a break from work for the guys, at least.”
“Yeah. But then they’ll have to help corral a bunch of little kids.” Nia giggled.
“That’s true. So, it’ll be more work, actually. Tae’s lucky you don’t have any kiddos yet.”
“Wouldn’t be surprised if we have one by this time next year, honestly.” Nia smiled. “A lot can happen in a year, can’t it? This was about the time last year I started working at Kim Inc. I never imagined I’d be married to Tae this year,” she laughed.
“Hey, I’d never imagined I’d be having triplets, but here we are! Life has a way of handing us the most unexpected gifts.”

“Auntie Nia!”
Nia smiled as she approached the table where Hobi’s sister, Haeju was sitting. Little Minseo was sitting next to her, bouncing up and down in her seat.
“Hey, Nia. What has it been, a year?”
Nia laughed. “Sounds about right. How have you been?”
“Busy. Yejun is constantly overseas, so I have to take Minseo to school every day before work. It’s a bit overwhelming.”
Nia nodded. “I understand. Tae and I fostered a kid for about five weeks, and it was crazy. He was the cutest little kid, but I was not ready to watch a kid twenty-four seven.”
“You fostered?” Haeju shook her head. “Who are you and what have you done with Nia?”
“Has Hobi told you anything?”
“Nope. All I heard was you two broke it off last November.”
“Well, I finally recovered a lot of my memories. Turns out I had a serious boyfriend before my surgery that no one told me about. He spent eight years thinking I was dead, and it was by pure luck that I even met him again. We got engaged in January, and then we got married at the courthouse in April. We’re going to have the ceremony in November.”
Haeju’s eyes were saucers in her head. “Wow, you guys moved fast! Would it be too awkward if Minseo and I came to the wedding?”
Nia laughed. “Actually, I wanted to know if you’d be willing to let Minseo be my flower girl.”
“Oh, that would be awesome! What do you think, Minseo? Would you like to be Auntie Nia’s flower girl?”
Minseo’s face lit up like the noonday sun. “Yes, please!”
“Would you?” Nia grinned. “Thank you! My friend and I are going shopping for her dress at the end of September. Do you guys want to join us?”
“Can we, Eomma?” Minseo asked.
Haeju laughed. “All right. I suppose we can come back up here then. September, huh? Cutting it pretty close if you’re getting married in November.”
“Well, we went shopping in April, but she’s having triplets at the end of the month and she was already showing at that point, so she didn’t want to buy anything until after the babies were born.”
“Oh, wow! Triplets? She’s a trooper.”
“Yeah. I’m going to be helping her with them. One baby would seem hard enough, but imagine chasing three little babies around by yourself all day!”
Haeju shook her head. “I’m glad she’s got you to help her!”
Poor Sua! I can’t wait to hear the baby names
