The Innocent – Chapter 33: Why Don’t You Two Just Kiss and Make Up?

As soon as they reached the school, Soo Ho gave Jung Sook a certain look, and she cleared her throat as she turned to address the child.

“Um, Bo A, can you…”

But before she could come up with a ready excuse, the girl finished her sentence for her, “…give you and Oppa Soo Ho a few minutes alone?  Absolutely.”  She held her hand out to accept the bag that Jung Sook had slung over her shoulder.

The teacher handed it to her favorite student.  “Thank you, Bo A.”

“I’ll make sure the classroom is ready,” the child promised as she entered the building.  Allowing the door to close firmly behind her.

Soo Ho turned towards his beloved as his hand squeezed hers before releasing it.  Then he reached for her.  “Come here,” he whispered.

“Wait.  Soo Ho, not here.  If any of my students should arrive early…”

He quirked a dark eyebrow at her.  “What?  You don’t want them to catch me kissing you?”

“Are you kidding me?  I’m still dealing with an all-out war in my classroom between those two girls and their factions.”

“Hmm.  Perhaps I should come meet you during the middle of your class.  And kiss you soundly in front of all the girls.  Then you could be their common enemy.  They’ll unite against you.”

She glared at him.  “I think that would just multiply my troubles.”

“Perhaps,” he sighed.  But then he chuckled.  “I was just trying to help.”

“You know what I think?”

“What?”

“Girls are quite different from boys.”

“Hmm.”  His eyes slid down her frame.  Before traveling back up to collide with her own again.  “I think that perhaps you are right.”  He flashed his beautiful grin at her suddenly.   “But I must say…I quite enjoy the differences.”

“Soo Ho,” she breathed a warning.

“Ooh, am I about to get into trouble with the teacher?  Perhaps we should head out back for my punishment,” he suggested teasingly as he tugged on her hand.

She didn’t resist him.  Instead, she glanced back at the road to make sure it was empty of curious girls.  It was.  Heaving a huge sigh of relief, she pivoted to gaze up into his eyes once more.

“Okay,” she surrendered to him with ease.

“Okay?”  He quirked one raven eyebrow at her in surprise before pulling her around the edge of the building.  He didn’t stop moving until they were safely hidden behind it.  Then he pulled her firmly into his arms, delighting in the feel of her pressed up against him.  “Careful,” he whispered, “I could get quite used to this.”

She glanced sheepishly up at him.  “So could I,” she admitted with a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

A very sweet mouth that was beguiling him with its beauty.

“How I missed you!” he murmured as his eyes slid lovingly along her hairline, and then across her cheek, and then along her jawline.  Before coming to caress her eyes.

“But you saw me every day,” she murmured.

“But I didn’t do this,” he uttered tenderly before bending his head down to brush his lips softly across her own.

Pure pleasure exploded within her.  She was reveling in his embrace.  She wound her arms around his neck as she lifted her face to receive another lingering kiss.  Happy that she was finally right where she belonged.  In the very center of Soo Ho’s affections.
