“The closer we get to this wedding the more concerned I am that Tae doesn’t have any friends,” Nia laughed as she spun around in the dress she was wearing.  Today they were going dress shopping.

“Well, he asked Jungkook to be his best man.” Sua commented.

“Really?  He didn’t tell me that!  I mean, I suppose they started talking about two weeks ago, but I didn’t expect them to become friends that fast!”

“Guys make fast friends in my experience,” Hyuna said. “My brother had a new friend almost every week when we were in school.”

“Yikes.  I’m this close to telling him to ask Hobi to be in the wedding, but that almost sounds awkward.”

“Almost?  That’s really awkward!” Moon exclaimed.  “You two were together for years!”

“I mean, we’ll have been broken up for almost a year…would it really be that bad?”

Moon just gave her a look. Nia sighed.

“Ok.  Opinions on this dress?”

“I don’t think the mermaid look is for you,” Sua sighed. “Honestly, I’m not sure I think it’s for anyone though, so don’t take my advice.”

“Honestly I don’t really like it either.” Moon walked a circle around Nia. “Not to mention the beading is outrageous.”

Nia looked to Hyuna, who shrugged.

“I don’t really have an opinion.  It’s your dress; find the one that makes you happy.”

“Well, I’m not going with this one then, because I feel trapped.  How do people walk in these?”

“I’ve always wondered the same thing,” Sua laughed.

Nia exited the dressing room a few minutes later in a completely different dress.  It had a flowy bottom and embroidered sleeves.

“Wow!  I love this one!” Nia exclaimed.

“It so fits your theme, too.” Moon added. “You should get it!”

“Can we look at bridesmaid’s gowns next?” Sua asked.

“Sure!”

Hobi looked around the restaurant.  He was on his guard tonight.  Taehyung had called and asked if he’d wanted to meet for dinner.  No business.  Apparently, he was bringing two other guys, one of whom he’d just hired.  Hobi had decided to bring his own secretary since he had absolutely no clue what was going on.

“Mr. Jung, they’re right over there.”

Hobi glanced over to the table his secretary was pointing at.  Taehyung was waving at them.

“Oh, thanks, Yoongi.”

“Remind me again why you had to bring me.”

“Because I barely know Mr. Kim and I don’t know the other two guys at all.  I needed to bring someone I trusted.”

“…right.”

Dinner didn’t go the way Hobi expected at all.  Yoongi had two glasses of wine in him before their dinner even arrived, and Taehyung was way more talkative than Hobi had ever seen.

Jungkook, who was one of Taehyung’s friends, had started a conversation about football.  Hobi wasn’t interested in the slightest.  He didn’t generally watch sports games.

“I was so disappointed when the Royals lost last week.  One of my work buddies told me I should start rooting for SEFC, but I’ve been watching the Royals since I was little!  I can’t root for someone else!”

“You’re a Royals fan too?  Are you from Busan?” Jimin, Taehyung’s new secretary asked.

“I am!  Are you?”

Jimin nodded and held his hand up for a high-five. “We should get together to watch a game sometime.  None of my friends are from Busan, so I have no one to cheer with.”

“What about you guys?  Who do you root for?” Jungkook asked, looking around the table.

Taehyung shrugged. “I don’t watch the games much.  Occasionally I’ll turn them on for some background noise when I’m at home, but I’ve never really watched them.”

“I’ll watch them in the breakroom sometimes,” Yoongi jumped into the conversation. “But I’ve never had time to watch a whole game before.”

“I don’t really understand the craze.  All the games are the same anyways, aren’t they?” Hobi asked.  Everyone turned to look at him.

“Have you ever watched a game?” Jungkook asked. “The fun of it is not knowing who will win.”

Hobi shrugged. “I spend most of my time in the office.  Watching a game seems like a waste of time to me.”

“All right, that’s it!  You all are coming over to my house tomorrow.  The Royals are playing the Dragons.  How’s that sound?” Jimin asked.

“I’m in!” Jungkook exclaimed.

“I suppose I can come,” Taehyung nodded.

“I’ll come.  And I’ll bring this one too,” Yoongi remarked, poking Hobi in the arm. “He needs to learn how to relax.”
