“Is the office surviving without us?” Sua asked as she slid into her chair at lunch.
“Oh, I’m sure. Tae said Jimin’s the best secretary he’s had after me.”
Sua laughed. “That’s high praise. Is it weird to not have Jisung anymore?”
Nia shrugged. “It is a little odd. Honestly, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Living with him was more of a challenge than I expected it to be.”
“I can imagine. Adopting a kid sounds crazy to me.”
“Well, you’re going to have three on your hands. I don’t think you’ll need anymore.” Nia laughed.
“Yeah. Three is going to be far than enough. Every day that passes makes me more eager to get them out!”
“They wrestle all the time?” Nia asked, grinning.
“Oh, don’t even get me started! Sometimes they won’t calm down enough to let me sleep!” Sua huffed. “Hey, do you mind coming over this weekend? We’re finally going to be painting the walls, and I think it’ll be easier the more hands we have.”
“Of course! That sounds fun! Just tell me a time and I’ll be there.”
“How’s three?”

“Nia, are you going to invite your parents to the wedding?”
Nia glanced up at Taehyung. “Why would I?”
He shrugged. “I just thought you might regret it someday if you didn’t.”
Nia sighed. “I really don’t want to invite them. I don’t want all the drama that might come with my mom being there. I think we should just keep it small.”
Taehyung nodded. “I’m going to invite a few of my cousins. Probably my aunt too. And a few people from work. I’m not sure who else to invite.”
“We really don’t know very many people, do we?”
He shook his head and laughed. “We need to get out more.”
“Nah. I prefer hanging out with you.”

“Uncle Tae!” Jisung exclaimed the moment he saw Taehyung approaching them.
“Hi, Jisungie. Happy birthday!”
“Thank you!” The little boy kicked his legs as he clung to Yoongi.
“Are you having fun living with your appa?”
“Yeah!”
“You wanna tell him what we did last night?” Yoongi asked.
“We went to see superhero movie!”
“Oh, really? Was it fun?” Taehyung asked.
“Yeah! And then we went to the park with Cocoa and got ice cream!”
Taehyung grinned. He was glad the little boy had a good dad. Taehyung had enjoyed raising the little boy for a few weeks, but it was better that Jisung was with his dad.
“What are we going to do today?” Yoongi asked, pinching Jisung’s nose.
“We’re gonna go try the Thai restaurant you talked about last week.”
Yoongi laughed. “Oh, we are? You didn’t tell me this!”
Jisung giggled and swung his legs. “That’s cause it’s a surprise.”
“This one is a sneaky one,” Yoongi grinned. “Did you teach him that before you handed him off to me?”
Taehyung shrugged. “Who knows. Now, do you want Thai food or not?”
“I do!” Jisung squeaked.
Yoongi is such a cute dad! Countdiwn to the wedding !
