Hobi picked up his phone the second he got to his office and called Yoongi.

“Hey, Yoongi?  Can you come to my office?”

“Sure.  I’ll be there in a minute.”

“I want to see Appa.” Jisung frowned.

“He’ll be here in a minute.”

Sure enough, Yoongi walked through the door a moment later.  He had an annoyed look on his face.

“Appa!” Jisung jumped off of Hobi’s lap and ran over to Yoongi.  Yoongi smiled and picked him up.

“Why was someone yelling at you, Appa?”

Yoongi’s eyes widened, and he looked towards Hobi. “You guys heard that?”

“Jisung was wandering around in the halls, so I was going to bring him to you, but…”

“Someone just isn’t very happy with Appa, Sungie.  Don’t worry about it.  Why were you wandering around?”

“The break room is boring.  I wanted to come see you.”

Yoongi sighed. “Ok, next time you can stay with me in my room.  How about we go home now?”

“Ok!”

Yoongi glanced at Hobi. “I’ll call you in twenty?”

Hobi nodded.

Once Jisung was playing with Cocoa in the living room, Yoongi picked up his phone and called Hobi.

“So, that was Gyeong?

Yoongi let out a long sigh. “Yeah.  I never imagined I’d see her again.  She practically left the moment I handed her divorce papers.”

“Did Jisung hear anything you guys discussed?  I would’ve left sooner, but I didn’t immediately realize what you guys were talking about.”

“I’m not sure, honestly.  He hasn’t said anything about it since we left.  The only thing he said on the ride home was asking if we could go see Tae next weekend.”

Hobi sighed. “What are you going to do about her?”

“Well, I probably won’t be bringing Jisung to work with me now.  I’ll have to find a new nanny.  The one I have right now can only work half the days in a week.”

“You could always see if Nia would watch him?  I mean, she lived with him for about a month, right?”

“That’s actually not a bad idea.”

——————–

“Uncle Tae!” Jisung squeaked the moment Taehyung opened the front door.  The little boy leaped into the house and hugged Taehyung’s leg.

“Hi, Jisungie.  How have you been?”

Yoongi laughed as he stepped in the door.

“Good!  Cocoa has gotten this big now!” Jisung exclaimed, holding his hands up to show Taehyung the approximate size of the dog.

“Oh, really?  Have you been feeding him a lot?”

“Yeah!  Where’s Tannie?”

“She’s sleeping in Nia’s paint room.  You wanna go find her?  She might wake up soon.”

“Yeah!” Jisung grinned and ran up the steps towards the hallway.

Yoongi sighed. “Thanks for letting us come over today.  He’s been asking me for weeks, ‘when can we see Uncle Tae?’”

Taehyung laughed. “You guys are welcome to come over anytime.  When I’m home, that is.”

Yoongi shook his head. “I don’t have a lot of days off, anyway.  Speaking of work, I was wondering how much Nia would like to watch Jisung during the day.  My ex came by my office last weekend and I’m sure Jisung would’ve wandered right into the room if Hobi hadn’t found him.”

“You’ve been taking him to work with you?” Taehyung asked, shocked.

“Three or four days a week, depending on the week.  The girl I hired isn’t available half the time, and I didn’t have time to find someone else.”

“Well, she’s going to be helping Sua with the triplets starting two weeks from now, but I can ask her.  I don’t think she’d mind.”

“That would be great.  Thanks, Tae.”

“You sound like you need a beer.  You want one?”

Yoongi laughed. “Yes, please.”
