Her hand safely held within his grasp, Jungkook tugged Daniela forward. He led her over green grass and gray pavement towards his car. She smiled when she saw it. She should have figured it was black. The boy sure did like black. So did she. And red. So did he.
Reluctantly, he released her hand when they reached his car. He leaned forward to unlock her door and opened it for her. She smiled up at him as she slid into the seat. He handed her backpack to her before closing her door gently.
A few moments later, they were moving down the street towards Passion 5. She laughed as she considered the name of the patisserie. Jungkook turned his head to look at her. There was a question evident in his dark eyes. Though, he said nothing.
She smiled. “Did you pick Passion 5 as your favorite bakery because of its name?”
He grinned. “I’d rather be dead than live without Passion 5!”
She laughed. Jungkook chuckled.
Then he turned on some music. She listened for a moment. She cocked her head to the side as she glanced at him.
“Is this Justin Bieber?”
He smiled and nodded. Then he began to sing along in his sweet, breathy voice. Daniela watched him. Completely fascinated by him. If this was a dream, it was lasting a long time.
Suddenly, he stopped singing as his eyes met hers.
“I can’t believe it!”
“What?”
“I never asked you. What’s your name?” His chocolate eyes probed her own.
She smiled as she responded, “Daniela.”
“Daniela,” he tried the syllables out on his tongue.
She grinned. The way Jungkook pronounced her name was cute. Different from everyone else.
A moment later, he directed the car into a parking space. He threw the car into park and jumped out after he turned off the ignition. He jogged around to her side of the car and opened her door. She glanced up at his cute face as she climbed out. She left her backpack on the floor.
He reached for her hand and tugged her along towards the bakery. He opened the door and led her inside.
Daniela was overcome by the choices that lay before them. She’d never seen so many baked goods in her entire life. Row after row of colorful, sugary delights surrounded them. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, macarons, donuts, baguettes, mini cheesecakes, fudge. All of them were bursting with color and creativity. Some were shaped like animals; others mimicked flowers. There were some vibrant, shiny globes she couldn’t identify. They were crowned by the word love created out of chocolate cursive letters strung together. What delectable delight was not here? If something was missing, she could not identify it. Her eyes as big as saucers, she turned her head to look at Jungkook.
He grinned. “It’s amazing, right?”
“How am I supposed to choose just one?”
“You’re not!” His teeth were glowing under the lights. “Choose as many things as you like! My treat.”
She laughed. “You’re hoping to roll me back to my dorm room today, huh?”
His face went blank. His eyes traveled from her head to her toes. “I think you could eat one of everything in here and still look perfect.”
Her lips curved in a smile. “Aren’t you sweet? Just like everything else in here! Hmm. I did come for the cheesecake.”
“Right. We’ll definitely get a couple of those. But try something else too!”
“What else do you like here?”
“A better question is what don’t I like! I steer clear of this place when I’m trying to lose weight!”
Her eyes slid over his attractive form. Talk about perfect! “Jungkook,” she furrowed her brow, “you don’t ever need to lose weight. You’re perfect. Just the way you are. You know that, right?”
He shrugged. “I don’t like the word perfect. I think it’s an impossible standard.”
The words of his song, Decalcomania, came back to her, “You’re just perfect. Feels like I’ve never been you.”
A wave of sadness swamped Daniela. “It may be an impossible standard. But if anyone comes close to meeting it, it’s you, Jungkook.”
Now he was uncomfortable again. He wasn’t perfect. Why did everyone assume he was?
Ok, does passion 5 exist? And if yes, do they deliver abroad?
OMG i think for me is the perfect story that Someone wrote about me
