“Auntie Eunji!” Jungju jumped out of Yoongi’s arms and ran to Eunji the second he saw her.

“Jungju! I’ve missed you!” Eunji knelt down to his height and hugged him, her shoes making it a bit more difficult.

“Dressed like that I’d assume you just came from a party.”

Eunji looked up to see Yoongi standing above her.  She stood up, almost the same height as him in her heels.

“I might not have come from a party, but I did just come from a meeting with my fiancé.”

“Do I know him?”

“Mhm, you know him fairly well. It’s Namjoon.”

“Oh,” Yoongi looked over at their father, who was completely oblivious to their conversation. “Arranged, I suppose?”

“Yep, hadn’t seen him since your wedding.  He’s actually half decent.”

“You still like Taehyung, don’t you?”

“How’d you know?”

Yoongi shrugged. “I’m your brother, I know things.”

“Yoongi, do you have all the bags?” A voice called. His wife, Nari, came running up to them.

“Yep, I assume you lost the bodyguards?”

A small smirk appeared on her face. “You know it.”

“You guys are still chasing the bodyguards off?  You’ve been doing that for as long as I can remember!” Eunji shook her head.

“Of course!  Just because we’re grown up doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun!”

Yoongi looked at his watch. “We should probably go, right?”

Eunji nodded. “Let’s go get Appa, then we’ll head to the limo.”

——————–

Eunji looked at her phone as it chimed.  It was Taehyung.

“Don’t forget the pool party tomorrow!”

Eunji smiled before picking up her phone to respond. “Don’t worry!  I didn’t forget!”

She was very excited for tomorrow.  She and Taehyung always had the best times at pool parties.  She felt like she could be herself since she wasn’t wearing a fancy outfit.  And Taehyung always made her feel more comfortable being herself.  He was a very free-spirited person.  It was one of the many reasons she loved him.  He might never know that, though…

——————–

“Auntie Eunji!  Do you like my outfit?”

Eunji looked up to see Jungju wearing a pair of her heels and one of Yoongi’s hats.  She laughed and shook her head.  She glanced at the clock.  She wondered how much longer she was stuck babysitting him.  Yoongi and Nari had gone with her father to a meeting that had to do with their company.  Just then, her phone chimed.  She looked down to see a text from Namjoon.

“Would you like to go out somewhere with me?  I figured we should get to know each other a bit better.”

She picked up her phone and quickly texted him back. “I’m babysitting my nephew right now; I can’t go out.”

“You can bring him with; I love kids, I don’t mind.”

Eunji looked over at Jungju.  She supposed she could make that work.

“All right, can you come pick us up?”

Namjoon replied a moment later. “Sure.  Actually, I’m already here.”

Eunji shook her head.  This guy was insane.  Driving all the way to her house without knowing if she was even going with him?  Insane.

“Jungju!  Go get dressed properly!  We have to go!”

“Where we going?”

“My friend is taking us out with him.”

“Oh.  Ok!  I go get dressed.” He ran off to his room.

He ran back out a minute later, dressed in his normal clothes again.

“Auntie, are you going to wear that outside?” He gestured to the sweatshirt and shorts she was wearing.

She supposed it wasn’t the most fitting for the weather, as it was summer, and she preferred to dress up around Namjoon.

“You’re right, I should change.  I’ll be back.”

She rushed off to her room to change into something fancy, knowing her assistant could handle watching Jungju for a minute or two.  She looked through her closet hurriedly.  She had to make a decision quickly, she couldn’t leave Namjoon waiting for long.  She finally decided on a baby pink dress, sliding it over her skinny frame before examining herself in the mirror.  Perfect.  She applied a bit of lipstick to her plump lips and pulled a pair of heels from her closet to go with her dress.  She quickly put them on and ran downstairs.  Once there, she grabbed her handbag off the table and motioned to Jungju to hold her hand.

“Let’s go, Jungju.  My friend is waiting.”

He quickly ran over to her and grabbed her hand.  She headed towards the door the second his small hand grasped hers.  As soon as she stepped out the door, Namjoon waved to her from his car.  She let out a heavy sigh.  This would be much more enjoyable if it was Taehyung who was picking her up.  She shook her head.  She supposed she could find a way to make this fun.  Or, maybe, Namjoon would pay attention to Jungju the entire time and he wouldn’t pay any attention to her!  She shook her head again, trying to shake the thoughts from her head.  She picked Jungju up and headed for Namjoon’s car.  She could see Namjoon’s dimpled smile.  Taehyung had somehow gotten less noticeable dimples.  That was shocking knowing Namjoon had that deep of wells in his face.  Taehyung’s were barely noticeable!  She sighed and helped Jungju into the back of the car before getting in the front.

“Unca Juju!” Jungju exclaimed the second he saw Namjoon. “I miss you!”

Namjoon laughed. “I’ve missed you too, little man.  Have you been good for your auntie?”

“Yes, I be good for her.” Jungju grinned, his chubby cheeks puffing up more.

“That’s good,” Namjoon looked at Eunji. “So, where should we go?”

Eunji gave some thought to this. “Where’s somewhere a 3-year-old would like?”

Namjoon scratched his head. “Do you think he’d like the mall?”

“Maybe, we could try.”

——————–

“Unca Juju can I has a stuffed animal?” Jungju pointed to the claw machine a few feet ahead of them.

Namjoon smiled. “Sure, buddy.  I can try.”

Jungju ran up to the machine, his big brown eyes staring at it in wonder.

“You better win one now that you’ve told him you would.” Eunji glared at Namjoon. “I’m in no mood for a tantrum today.”

Namjoon smiled and walked over to the machine, slipping a W500 coin into it. “Let’s give this a try.”

He moved the claw around, attempting for the specific one Jungju had asked for, but failed.  He tried again, but to no avail.  He tried once more.

“Unca Juju!  You got it!”

Namjoon looked up to see the toy Jungju had asked for in the claw.  He quickly but carefully maneuvered it over to the drop slot, beaming with joy.  Jungju grinned from ear to ear as he pulled the stuffed animal from the slot.

“Tank you, Unca Juju!” He hugged Namjoon’s leg, still grinning.

Namjoon hugged him back to the best of his ability. “You’re welcome.”

“Wow, I’m quite surprised you actually got it,” Eunji commented.

Namjoon was about to respond, but Eunji’s phone chimed before he could.  She pulled it out of her handbag.

“It’s Yoongi.  He’s asking where we are.”

“Ah, do I need to take you home?”

“I think you might.  It appears my father wants to go out for lunch.”

“All right, let’s go.” Namjoon picked up Jungju and they headed for the door.  He put Jungju in the back of the car, and went to climb in the front.  Upon climbing in, he turned to Eunji. “Did you have fun at all today?  I know you’re hard to please.”

“Well, it was funny to watch you fail at the claw machine multiple times.”

“Oh, it was?”

“Yep.  Can we go?  My dad is expecting us back in 10 minutes.”

“Uh, yeah, sorry.” Namjoon started the car and drove off.

When they got back to her house, Eunji started to get out of the car, but Namjoon stopped her. “Eunji, Tae and I are throwing a pool party tomorrow afternoon.  Would you like to come?”

“Oh.  Yeah, Tae invited me a few days ago.  I almost forgot!  Thanks for reminding me.  See you tomorrow.” Eunji hurriedly jumped out of the car and got Jungju out of the back.  She made her way for the house as quickly as possible, leaving Namjoon behind in his car.
